Railfair 2022

All aboard! The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park kicks off the fall season by celebrating all things railroading! 

Model Railroad Clubs 

In addition to the displays in the Model Railroad Building, there will be multiple outdoor model train layouts on display from a variety of railroading clubs from across the Valley. These layouts will be shaded by tents and will be set up in the plaza area closest to the Merci Train Car and the Model Railroad Building. 

Scottsdale Live Steamers 

After a summer break, the Scottsdale Live Steamers will be back providing rides on the Arboretum Railroad. Their loading station is located just behind the entrance to the Model Railroad Building. No tickets are required, but donations will be accepted.  

Scottsdale Railroad Museum 

The Scottsdale Railroad Museum will also re-open for the season starting Railfair weekend. Stop by to view a variety of historical railroading artifacts, including a special collection of items from the historical 40 & 8 Merci Train Car. We will also have staff providing guided tours in the Presidential Roald Amundsen Pullman Car.  

Paradise and Pacific Railroad 

The park’s iconic steam engines will be running all day on the main track around the park. If you are lucky, you might even get to catch a ride on a rare “double header”, where the engineers will connect engines #10 and #11 together for one amazing trip around the park! 

Souvenir Sales 

There will be a sales tent located outside the Stillman Station near the carousel selling a variety of railroad items and souvenirs at a discount. Only while supplies last! You can also get all the Railroad Park branded gear and fun train items you need inside the Stillman Station.
